it's crude, it got published, my mum said clinton did not enjoy her transparancy role. dunno about that, i mean if you don't like to be as corrupt as to do sth you rather just not do it isn't;)
'higher' diplomacy ..
that's all very fine and i know little less. in the personal my impressions are not implausible, that's also helpfull. It's weird with ideas, like a famous russian neonazi explained, a jewish mum helps, and blessings and curses work for 7 generations do they?
bugger, people will stop reading, nah that is biases for, to autocensure the biased. as the saying goes, they allways say it themselves;)
funny again intelligence tried that, to have their covers better under by being informed, but it trended to turn the coppers, so they are more easy to catch again.
whats it to be a slave of a system, of any of the intrinsically corrupt policeapparatus, eg.
like hillary, instead of saying the republicans in congress i fear, she plays the masculin hero calling for rudeness and vengeance. the "bad man" to everyones robin.
obama was down for signing (his first? yes i guess) deathpenalty, or so the story goes.
got used to it i guess. in the stronger terms. the clichee, the things you find in dispatches.
okay should i explain what makes a secretary state compromise on her feelings? except money i mean? maybe, but i am not gonna. not interested.
it's not i am gay or sth? you cant be carefull enough with the witchhunt on blowers of every tune. Odinga did that today, and it was enough to tell uganda is seeking that witchhunt as well. go figure what bloodlet is left in the education they lusted. oh well they are in usian peacearmy now so its allright.
it's not the topic, tho, just making a game out of it.
topic is feminism. hillary suits as an intro.
i have been a feminist for as long as i can remember.
i don't know if i have to thank my father for it, he used to shout unreasonably about me, and so did he about feminists (not even sure he did, he did about plenty of people) maybe it wasnt that, but for the idea, so i thought, , hey this is the unreasonable thing. they must as much as me be right to be the target of such rude abuses.
maybe it wsnt it, but maybe it was, my mum was sorttoff a latent feminist for all her life, she went on to be really emancipated, but in familys with jewish roots afaik that is nothing unusual, or at least, she needn't be a feminist for me to be a functional adult in the centre of our cosmosses.
i don't think she sympathised with feminism loudly, but i guess somewhiles she contradicted the big bad dad on the subject, so i knew what it was at. i am not sure, i have no clear emmory on any of this, perhaps i could read before they used the word, in wich case i probably read it in the paper when i was 6, 7 maybe. 6 i bet, i remember the 69 war from the papers.. (the 6 day war in israel, heh i talked about cairo with people, didn't know noone understood that yet. wonder what they thought:D. i understood it:) (believe it or not most people these days probs dont have an idea the two relate or have anything to do with no matter what, dutch politics adults would not usually understand when i was a kid, at home they would, dad to get angry:D)
you see this hasnt much to do with feminism atm, that is because it is a difficult subject.
on that question i'd answer yes, i guess yes i thought my mum needed heaps of it, quite that rather emancipated.
then again i was on her side as a matter of cause wasn't i? i think i told him oncw i agreed with feminism, anyhow i was like that, if i disagreed i made it known in a substantiated perhaps even poetical way to the dad thing, it might hurt me, well i just didn't like injustice.
i flatter myself when i think about what followed, changed the whole parential concept for the freaking world:p
when i was a child, woman had as little to say about a child as in kosovo, fortress hillary kosovo ..
thats usefull to know, in the 1960s the civil codex for parential care was at the level of the sharia.
lol
yes i flatter myself about that. (picasso himself hints he gave away the paintings btw, and if he knew them so well he wouldnt have complained of missing them, screw you rich guys, hand the man his 300 million euro it is worth at least. (i guess tehy'd shoot him shortly after ..)
anyhow picasso tells us somewhere in a interview that he has a surprise waiting, in the sense of paintings of his, still after his death, that it would be good for a laugh:) except that i remember that, it shows i liked art and was apt at ebcoming sth like picasso (good sales, not to much of a job)
ended up i thought other things more relevant and that ended with being a critics and a freewheeling 'analyst'. so what with feminism.
i dont really think as a child i had a the feminist problem much, later it has been very important for me, and allthough my relations with girls were not splendid (wearing glasses being quite a nerd and uhm, i think my mums relgious persevrance of the antisexuality perhaps found fertile ground in the innocent child? my father wouldn't have been to much of a help, so what is callerd in netherlands "het gereformeerden syndroom". i guess, maybe it was even different.
after all i was quite right children dont have that great differences.
my first feminist memory that has made a great impression on me i was perhaps 10 or so, maybe a bit older, even 14, i never hurried in getting old, so i don't know for sure,
i used to sit sometimes in the village in public places, crowded places, in front of the supermarket eg. watching the people go by, it interested me, they knew i liked to do it i think, some asked me why i sat there and looked, i explained, everything was ok. being a boy and having what some boys have i payed some extra attention to girls, can't help it, sometimes i did. not very consciously i think, i just remember them more easily, one day
guess it wasn't the first time i recognised people i had seen before, i recognised the mothers with children, i must have been sitting there for a year :o not allways ofcourse.
they were the girls from past year, i was completely surprised, not that girls got babys, but that it went so quickly, i was shocked actually.
last year they were pretty fine young girls , really young and often really pretty, blond usually, bleeched i know now, some were really pretty, that i could easily remember them for a year.
and now, they were mothers. i wasn't against mothers, but there was a difference, girls had small noses, mothers big. quite a few such differences i had allways seen between girls and mothers,
i don't want to mention them, it would be a row. as i had observed there was nothing positive for the girls to become a mother, not for the girls that. but i had allways assumed it went slowly,
that it would take 6 maybe 10 years, the girls thought of me, i went home, thought of them, thought it exciting they thought of me. still don't know my age at the time 10-13 i think.
i spend time that time watching the people, i spend more time then ever paying attention to young mothers, after i was sure i went, i don't think i ever watched people in the same way again, hardly on the places, in no great amount.
for me it has allways been a part of my feminist inspiration, the idea that that was wrong, that pretty charming happy positive girls in one year were forced to get big noses.
they were not treated right, there really wasn't a way to achieve that without giving someone hardship, an incredible burden to girls wholly unprepared, and no very well treatment besides.
so much was medically obvious.
(i can be a bit quick with my judgements)
perhaps you think it has not been my inspiration but i have never forgotten it.
so when we got that in school it was old news anyway, i think it was mainly treated in the secondairy, 'feminism' i s'pose with it's functional applications it is now more often called emancipation in the compendium, and got changed over to history, that what we don't know about. can know but most don't.
it was in social education. maybe there is a term more close, social history. it told people that you can vote etc. why u can vote, who invented the voting, ofcourse that in netherlands you ended up with really little to say, and the history of that. usefull stuf allthough there is hardly a student , let alone a nut like me, waiting for an extra study.
i liked it. the teacher smelled, allways, someone else must have written that, he allways did.
nice guy btw, i really think i tried to support the ordre in his class, what will he have thought:S.
i stop here or i will become indiscrete. there is not much about that. and i doubt he would mind, i wonder what great job he is smelly at now, if at a school they must have either got him married or cleaned up another way? does it still exist? i wonder, teachers that really smell?
good way to get rid of a dumb job anyhow.
crazy, never thought about what forced him to do this kind of labour, or what allowed him so.
i think i once heard he's a history teacher now, but i am a terrorist you know, he was part of the authoritarian clique, idiots with syndromes like my fathers.
when i asked after him i may even have thought i was politically challenged (quite that),
i wonder whats his syndrome, i thought at some time perhaps korea, he never told, i think he said he hadn't.
i was so small i asked, also not once?
he would buy that kind of stuff you know.
i think perhaps he had'nt been personally active, he said so it correlated with stuff, he kept his uniform, oh i was a child and he explained how mostly for the russians there, he didn't like it, allthough it shaped his life, well it symbolised his failure as a scientist perhaps, because of poverty.
he disliked perhaps even hated weapons, i think he *didn't* carry a weapon. went through the war and all that.
oh yes i realise, his was a child abuse syndrome probably.
k terrible, my post about feminism will still have to wait for some time, will it?
gl so far,
hillary and obama should use the usual facistoid nice pictures a bit more for some reason, or is it to credible to have a crisis as a democrat.(time to do some real bad pictures else bush 'll win the next elections for the reps)
really the only recent nice picture was when the two looked so nice together in the sweet role of wonderfull coordination. glad to see you team yourself better then i do.
saw that picture? the two really being really togetherish over their governing role? hard to explain, obama is quite a great man with knowledge almost like a usual man.
nothing new about the us personal intelligence prop still being for the us personal really is it?
Saying things forgot about....

wikileaks
for me intelligence is surprisingly simple often. it goes like this, something is happening in the world, at one or more places (most often one) i publish an opinion about the case.
if it meets the criteria of the secret services it is published.
these criteria are diverse, making some errors helps. not telling the truth outright may help, saying things that suit nato usia or israel works great. in actual cases of emergency i take pains to please those powers and still get a message out.
when the better opinion of the case is not a secret but not the peoples one, and it happens to be my perception, chances it gets through are great.
if on the other hand i say something they don't want known, or that hits a mark most people didn't even know was painted on them, i tend to get censored.
then my original idea turns into a case of reverse engineering, what is the thing that is not meant for you, the public.
my relation with media in general is similar the past so many years (ups and downs, but basically it got a tad worse over the whole and a tad less agressive in the personal).
not much perhaps. its not like i think it got better over the past 1o years or so at all, with freedom of expression or freedom of conviction.
the paranoia is also growing, there is some sort of imperialisation on ideas going on, that turns ideas that before say 5 years were all but unspeakable into newly made secrets.
the mechanics and intentions of this censoring, mediastrategy, control, you name it, seem to fertily breed new fears, so over the whole i think it is getting worse. it can be a tad misleading that wikileaks really means a thing to the secrecy circles on the planet, yet it is bound to happen on neigh every subject, so that is doubtfull.
Now that i feel the need to post, means intrinsically i have been censored in expressing my opinions and insights, wich in turn means i have something to think about, being :what is it that others are not supposed to know.
don't worry if you are an interested reader, it happens quite a lot.
very often it happens when it concerns actual mediatopics of the current moment, especially the ones that are made to be trending about 'terrorism'.
the reason for this is so much is secret about them. and the reason for that is that we are fed with what is mostly bullshit for an analyst result on a daily bases.
so it is strikingly common for me to find inconsistency's and propaganda items in current affairs. and it is as common to be made aware of the limit to what the public is allowed to know.
i think what explains my ease in collecting the impressions that are bound to be target of censoring is that i have a long history of critical research and observation of politics in the wider sense. (in actuality but also in theory, in practice, in experimental ways, pure facts, scientific analyses and on more social levels i am strongly interested , and have allways tried to stay somewhat up to date.)
personally i experience that as a historical interesse, because history repeats so many of the features but also because more often then not for what is going on now there are a lot of interesting historical examples. so wether i am right or not i experience it as historical work.
i take some time getting to the point, but the crude message that it is very hard to get opinions out, let alone get the opinions you want out, even as historical data, or objective sidenotes and observations must be made clear.
doubts are the sanest thing for everyone to have with the news we are fed.
so quite contrary to the last two times i delved a bit into the newest wikileaks,
militairy reports tend to be boring and superficial, mostly in abreviations, and many people studied the first two leaks with more interesse then me (it was all not very new to me).
also i had the idea that if great revelations ( as opposed to finetuned precise comparisons and statistical analyses) were in they would tend to be the focus for enough researchers without me.
people with way better (imo statistic) tools to extract some more information from the pile of rather raw data.
i also felt it was incomplete, as an example the team and unit involved with shooting the reuter reporter appeared to be both absent and prominent in ways that are only and best explained by interference.
nevertheless i had the idea the bulk of data was indeed what it said raw relatively undoctored data. reasoning there is just to much of it to just cook it all up i assumed the real catalogue would be the base for the release, no matter to what extend it would be (eg. mechanically by random generation) doctored.
that means i think atm, it was partly doctored partly screened, but still opened up data for interpretation, and unfortunately mostly for statistical analyses for wich i do have a talent even without the tools, but lack the inspiration to set out on so great a task.
however i read about what researchers and journalists found there when i could and for what i met. counting that as my statistical sample.
maybe i am cynical, because i tend to inform myself decently in as far as i can, and for many people it was the great eyeopener in some way, but for me it was hardly.
so with the new release upcoming i was still a bit sceptic. what now, well i can tell you there is every attempt to make it seem i take the stuf serious, wich i do only less as a result of that ofcourse.
i think of them in a similar way, an incomplete and interfered resource.
most probably taken from at least partly original files however and with the need to reflect actual diplomatic activitys and circumstance , for someone as suspicious as me, that is still more then the military files a trove indeed.
and even if for me acces to wikileaks is still blocked it was interesting to read what the great (and very loyal) newspapers published as their impressions.
especially the guardians raw documents be they few and select, i read with fascination, the ones i did. i was to convinced i was also fed information through their absolute say in my choice and its limitations to want to go through all, or more then i feel like at the whim.
i guess i think that whenever i am fed information it is unwise to absorb to much propaganda, and i think that is wiser also. this feels better, to reflect on the credibility before even giving statistic credibility for my appreciation of them.
so what do i think.
i dont have enough data to judge yet, from what i seen and read, i doubt slightly this is the real thing. otoh it is somewhat to complete in some aspects to be fully doctored and made up.
at least that seems the case to me atm. that beside a lot of the dispatches are historically interesting (typically like when mandela was released) wich would work fine to sweeten the case for the media and provide the right kind of interesting storys to grab peoples attention over some period and to be convincingly paralel to a history we know, so as to remain convincing.
so i am not interested in such cables (their virtue is mostly that nothing new can essentially be in so they form some rudimentairy check on the real setup of such diplomacy).
i am in no way connected sufficiently to the heap of documents to say anything definite about that unfortunately. (i try to find them all not for no reason, it is enough that i could get a long way in analysing quite some recent history perhaps to a point i could not before.
and its great for laughs:D. like predictable they all have their own agendas , the diplomats, and all of them evade the truths what they can. one example, bruns i think he is named, a vice to clinton produces fine reads that are food for thought because he is very reluctant to do much more then listen eg.
since if one thing is clear it is that there is a limit to the integrity of the documents (else there wouldn't have been a need for censoring me) i will now give you the most rational and secret reason why the documents are doctored.
these documents are taken from a network for loyal usian citizens, everyone with some security clearing (there are many different kinds and levels) had acces to them (at least theoretically).
that means they had been doctored to confirm the biases and wanted opinions of a innercircle of "secret bearers" that ofcourse need to stick close to the regimes policy's for security reasons.
i think that is one prime reason why these documents confirm most aspects of usian foreign politics so clearly. and i think it is the bigger secret (because it is a good thing to know when you work with the data) that had me censored.
i think ill get back to the topic soonish. but eh.. like you are not supposed to... keep in mind they were preaching for their own parish in publishing exactly (perhaps) that what we now all read
you wont find a positive report about ahmedinajaadh for example on sirpnet or a moderate opinion on northkorea, they just dont need their lower level officials to think that nuanced.
kind regards, hope to been of help

nobel special
i held the subject last year didnt i? well that was when obama got his for only lipservice so far,
i am not sure if it rewarded.
geesh i never heard of the guy that wrote the book, but yes he ran for president of a center rightwing platform just like we would expect in norwegia, and eh.. after all it is an easy way out of the fujimoro debacle (you bet they supported him enthusiastically, he is neoliberal so even more right then centre)
so the next topic is easily liu. its a bit political i know i have to fear to admit, and apparently not enough for literature no matter the criterion of prolificence.
thats just kidding, i actually am quite sure his books deserve a better praise, chinese literature only started suffering the internet syndrome more recently.
talking about books, i am under the impression many boring books are sold these days, i could be wrong but most of the books i recently stumbled upon their existence actually originate from usia, thats surprising as the nation is famed for it's general unawareness for the worldy matters, like eg 47% "only" knows the koran is the "holy" book of islam. could be a sampling bias, screw holy i think, no books are holy, quite the contrary.
perhaps if they had asked whats the scripture base for that next outrage called religion everyone had known.
anyhow about usian books , the ones i recently stumbled upon (without btw reading or considering buying them) are mostly very political, 100's, or so is my impression, books with political analyses or it's mymics (didn't read them) appear overthere. i have almost been jealous.
many of the titles and perhaps more importantly authors however are less then appealing, and in cases i don't hardly expect them to be the writers behind even, and i have been wondering in how far subsidying plays a role in their conception. in one case, i never seen the actual book or heard anyone talk or chat about it, it sold 100000s of copy's or so they said, its an old trick to buy heaps of books to sell a political view.
thats so contrary to my own perceptions of the state of usia all, i really wonder what sticks behind it. i think , at least part of it is literary pretence, if you dont read you are less of an intellectual containder, so people read, they really appear somewhat of the base for consensus in the usian debate, those books, in some cases, warranted or , what seems even through the mere quantity of books about a subject like irak or afghanistan by people having some stake, not.
so it had me wondering this year more then ever, i thought about it before, who deserves the literature price, lets not talk about peace prices, thats so obviously political and having little to do with the explosives nobel was once worrying about he invented, he was familiar with the krimean war for your informations.
so i wonder about that one a lot, and i came up with lulu and erdogan in my prejudiced christian thinking pattern in that ordre.
not that i hold these two in extreme esteem, but at least they diplomatically vied for actual antimilitarist peace the last year.
about the chinese guy i am not that sure, actually i dare doubt it, if bhutto had been so really great for peace they would not have promoted her return to pakistan either.
i think , its just a guess ofcourse he is more of a darwinist then that. this liu.
on the one hand i know him only from the corporate media, otoh we hardly have another,
no not about peace prices this time.
its the literature i am wondering about. it used to be there was nothing, a talented writer in the old days would be surrounded by boredom and clichee, find an only outlet on the desk full of paper, you had to conform with desks, but you can hide stuff in them outside official papers so they have their uses.
i would dream of flying into my library, the huge fauteuil and a good stroke of reading every day, had i been so priviliged i remember, but writing in a fauteuil is hard, you need a desk.
so in the old days if it wasn't the 'fine arts' it was writing, the outlet, the forum and perhaps even the confrontation with negativity so commonly found among the usual people had their transcedent utopian place of their own. the book in becoming.
yes i can see how that produced a greater literature then even the mid 20th century. i strongly admire the singular, and usually older man, and perhaps woman that write the literature these days. years of study and hard labour to produce what can be recognised by abstract but familiar criteria as literature..
there's allways been a bit to much generality in what has been called literature for me to stay completely serious, but in a way it is a besides anyhow. it is not my times, and these people had to do with their own pool of impressions, getting worrying now, its the uncensored blog you know, but i try to move on with the subject because it is really fascinating whilst....:
listen up, these people did have their inspiration, and the statistical truth is such inspiration must be here still in people. why don't we see it?
yes ofcourse, wich we don't, we do have to look into other media, but overestimate me for once and imagine i considered; thats pretty hard :o
i mention a few media that promote total anonimity of the original produce, tv series (influential , commonplace and certainly attracting followers, don't explicate the scripters.
computer company's that sell software wich is a product of a sophisticated and nearly philosophical kind of "code writing" thoughts proces.
games i have seen mentioned, but correct code, pristine data, in very boring and unentertaining applications may be where our greatest talents hide, i just don't know, but i am sure it is something.
perhaps coders get the according depressions, noone ever notices but a species only to survive if the product becomes a part of the collective conscience, did nobel think of that btw?
thats against the peace price then, he is only a product of economical rationality and noone that isnt clustered to ever the same channels on tv recognises him.
i am only trying for a better standard, don't take it out on me.
well so coding i think is underestimated as a literary product and deserves sampling. if only for the personality's , i should say psychology's, of the whole class.
what else? suggestions are welcome. i thought of eminem, not that i admire him much but he did have the kind of impact remotely comparable with bob marley, that you would expect his music in the middle of the desert, in moskwa or beying, and since he is from chicago, in new york for starters.
in the polar circle. again i forgot the name of the winner of the literature price, i tend to not try to remember things that for me bear no significance. he lost a presedential election once, pitty that i guess, i have seen more often that political ambition and serious thought bite another.
in me for example.
apart from that nothing revolutionairy promissing in the program i see. so not a great loss, fujimori himself was somewhat of an obama avant la lettre, ow that could be it that obama read him, lol. i guess thats what behind but it is boring to know the answer, it is often more interestin to wonder what else moved those pieces over the board.
tutu has a do, as a farewell present they acclaimed (some of) his candidates, certainly a higher aspiration been recognised in the man.
he is some placcard for those higher aspirations indeed , say..
well maybe he is, i just don't know him and he is not my association with the victory over apartheid, just a bisshop that opted to be not inhumane in a (all too, i know that was also pragmatical) moderate way. he doesnt deserve this great role from my pov. i am not a fan of those eternal moderations.
but thats personal and at least he played some role in the whole affair.
ok so i turned to the people, i asked everyone i met the day that could, or perhaps might also not be able to, read to mention what they called the literary experience, explicitly not book, they thought would be the best candidate.
my own idea, eminem, was more of an example, his impact has not been the past year, nor do i consider him the great master of contemporary rap and literature, allthough he is something there for sure. even he is a white thief of a darker produce and in that sense to some extent literary despicable. must say it is something to want to own, rap as a white, i can hardly not blame him, but for his , why so similar, role he deserves not to be rewarded, you can only make the big bucks if you are white.. and that is why bob marley did not find recognition as the greatest musician of the 20th century. subjective.
heh, so had they nominated eminem i had also left a great complaint, think about it, it is not a resignation.
and thats with nobel prices. white judeochristian publicity. for whites, and indeed by whites.
it has been made explicit even by the anouncements to go with it.
" no asians got the price recently" (if ever) and similar with literature, indeed i dont remember a single winner of my lifetime, maybe neruda was one. deservedly i would say. he did not follow an agenda, his were really books, not propaganda, it was even readible, something i tend to find in the usual 'literature' less then i ever expected.
we need a noble price winner for literature, neruda was from latin america, everyone will belief this, i can follow that, allthough what is really behind is he visits the church regularly.
and the chinese what would his religion have ado? as far as it is not obvious, every promotion of religious diversion in china is usefull in the eyes of western (would be) powerbrokers.
especially they must hope for more of a muslim reaction.
it besides liu has to much of a sentence, behind bars for ages for even reactionairy publicatairy activity is for me much to bear and hard to witness.
yet otoh, when you have those appearances of dissidency in netherlands you are at risk to be treated with chemicals that are illegal in international conventions, and if you protest it is kept out, and misreprented in, the media everyday. hard to proof ofcourse what is kept out.
strikingly so much that even an affront like ethiopia at times manages to look good in comparison. i will never again be impressed by the usual ' six arrests in (darfur, somalia, myanmar whatever they see resources) in our media after them spiriting away a hundred in our own capital.
thats over, credibility has died, there is only left to be fooled or not to be fooled.
and liu, i think he is naive. worse, i think he is that.. at best.
i fear i am giving to little credit, but i am not half as sure of that as i would indeed need to be to have it different. nice pricetag,
i am not sure if it rewarded.
geesh i never heard of the guy that wrote the book, but yes he ran for president of a center rightwing platform just like we would expect in norwegia, and eh.. after all it is an easy way out of the fujimoro debacle (you bet they supported him enthusiastically, he is neoliberal so even more right then centre)
so the next topic is easily liu. its a bit political i know i have to fear to admit, and apparently not enough for literature no matter the criterion of prolificence.
thats just kidding, i actually am quite sure his books deserve a better praise, chinese literature only started suffering the internet syndrome more recently.
talking about books, i am under the impression many boring books are sold these days, i could be wrong but most of the books i recently stumbled upon their existence actually originate from usia, thats surprising as the nation is famed for it's general unawareness for the worldy matters, like eg 47% "only" knows the koran is the "holy" book of islam. could be a sampling bias, screw holy i think, no books are holy, quite the contrary.
perhaps if they had asked whats the scripture base for that next outrage called religion everyone had known.
anyhow about usian books , the ones i recently stumbled upon (without btw reading or considering buying them) are mostly very political, 100's, or so is my impression, books with political analyses or it's mymics (didn't read them) appear overthere. i have almost been jealous.
many of the titles and perhaps more importantly authors however are less then appealing, and in cases i don't hardly expect them to be the writers behind even, and i have been wondering in how far subsidying plays a role in their conception. in one case, i never seen the actual book or heard anyone talk or chat about it, it sold 100000s of copy's or so they said, its an old trick to buy heaps of books to sell a political view.
thats so contrary to my own perceptions of the state of usia all, i really wonder what sticks behind it. i think , at least part of it is literary pretence, if you dont read you are less of an intellectual containder, so people read, they really appear somewhat of the base for consensus in the usian debate, those books, in some cases, warranted or , what seems even through the mere quantity of books about a subject like irak or afghanistan by people having some stake, not.
so it had me wondering this year more then ever, i thought about it before, who deserves the literature price, lets not talk about peace prices, thats so obviously political and having little to do with the explosives nobel was once worrying about he invented, he was familiar with the krimean war for your informations.
so i wonder about that one a lot, and i came up with lulu and erdogan in my prejudiced christian thinking pattern in that ordre.
not that i hold these two in extreme esteem, but at least they diplomatically vied for actual antimilitarist peace the last year.
about the chinese guy i am not that sure, actually i dare doubt it, if bhutto had been so really great for peace they would not have promoted her return to pakistan either.
i think , its just a guess ofcourse he is more of a darwinist then that. this liu.
on the one hand i know him only from the corporate media, otoh we hardly have another,
no not about peace prices this time.
its the literature i am wondering about. it used to be there was nothing, a talented writer in the old days would be surrounded by boredom and clichee, find an only outlet on the desk full of paper, you had to conform with desks, but you can hide stuff in them outside official papers so they have their uses.
i would dream of flying into my library, the huge fauteuil and a good stroke of reading every day, had i been so priviliged i remember, but writing in a fauteuil is hard, you need a desk.
so in the old days if it wasn't the 'fine arts' it was writing, the outlet, the forum and perhaps even the confrontation with negativity so commonly found among the usual people had their transcedent utopian place of their own. the book in becoming.
yes i can see how that produced a greater literature then even the mid 20th century. i strongly admire the singular, and usually older man, and perhaps woman that write the literature these days. years of study and hard labour to produce what can be recognised by abstract but familiar criteria as literature..
there's allways been a bit to much generality in what has been called literature for me to stay completely serious, but in a way it is a besides anyhow. it is not my times, and these people had to do with their own pool of impressions, getting worrying now, its the uncensored blog you know, but i try to move on with the subject because it is really fascinating whilst....:
listen up, these people did have their inspiration, and the statistical truth is such inspiration must be here still in people. why don't we see it?
yes ofcourse, wich we don't, we do have to look into other media, but overestimate me for once and imagine i considered; thats pretty hard :o
i mention a few media that promote total anonimity of the original produce, tv series (influential , commonplace and certainly attracting followers, don't explicate the scripters.
computer company's that sell software wich is a product of a sophisticated and nearly philosophical kind of "code writing" thoughts proces.
games i have seen mentioned, but correct code, pristine data, in very boring and unentertaining applications may be where our greatest talents hide, i just don't know, but i am sure it is something.
perhaps coders get the according depressions, noone ever notices but a species only to survive if the product becomes a part of the collective conscience, did nobel think of that btw?
thats against the peace price then, he is only a product of economical rationality and noone that isnt clustered to ever the same channels on tv recognises him.
i am only trying for a better standard, don't take it out on me.
well so coding i think is underestimated as a literary product and deserves sampling. if only for the personality's , i should say psychology's, of the whole class.
what else? suggestions are welcome. i thought of eminem, not that i admire him much but he did have the kind of impact remotely comparable with bob marley, that you would expect his music in the middle of the desert, in moskwa or beying, and since he is from chicago, in new york for starters.
in the polar circle. again i forgot the name of the winner of the literature price, i tend to not try to remember things that for me bear no significance. he lost a presedential election once, pitty that i guess, i have seen more often that political ambition and serious thought bite another.

end of times
recently many of my blogs entry's center around some or other kind of social gathering.
it's not on purpose but things like protests and meetings ofcourse do ask for attention.
i am sad to even start about this subject, don't expect much, there is a limit to what one can rationalise in the face of arbitrary detention, censory and abuse of power.
it is not even a rational thing to witness, and its a long story to be told before any of you understand what i am on about. it is also the same story as the persecution of roma, 'foreigners', and in the end the jews. the laws are similar, the mechanisms the same and the judges as complicit. its really like an upperclass project hitting it's target, and the target are the free minds of the people.
so let me start with the most exceptional example of the lack of intellectual class our 'superiors' have been projecting. in the house of lords, did you even know netherlands has a such 'house of lords' where the grey and rich confer to limit every accidental progressive impact of the workings of dutch politics? in this place the senile majority has decided, that whilst freehousing is criminal, anti-freehousing must remain legal? i know why, because their retarded kids make money of the speculating with their dads empty buildings ..
even more strikingly i think it was common sense in law, that when you forbid something also the making profit from it should be considered excessive.
as far as i know there has never been a law to specifically state that to be making money anti-sth
is legal. logical at it, these exploitations of contrary feelings are not a part of the jurist preoccupation. they should neither be part of the mindset.
in fact by making an anti-something institute a legally warranted object of laws you accept the legality of the something, at least in the letter of law. civilians are not allowed to apply their own justice, no matter how injust they may be.
however that not capacity but family and loyalty are the decreeing aspects of the official life in netherlands isn't new to me.
the lipservice against racism eg. could have been easily turned into a common sense consensus on that politics is not the place to explicitly discriminate. instead of just treating the illegal practice of it to cooperate and concede , even find "compromise" shows where the flags really hang. if it's prescripted, it is organised.
we are ruled by organised criminals explicitly these days. "the worst maffia is in den haag".
so i can't say there was anything hopefull to start with, and now for umpteenth time a set of repressive measures (censoring 100's of arrests, heavy jailtime for being homeless, restricting of alternative and creative projects, they tried it many times before but it never worked for them, and so i hope it will be this time and reality will force them to concede. yet, it is "worse then ever", more censoring, more influencing, more criminalisation, and jail.
it feels like the real doom of fascism and was proudly arranged by the same instigators of the verbal abuse in media, the socalled democrat politicians. a stupid thing to indeed belief but a catchphrase often used nevertheless.
i am left wondering who will be the next subject of outrageous abuse and accusations in the organised media. i already realised it would ne a group having similaritys with ours to have an easier time applying similar abuse as people got used to. and not strange at that, allthough i don't know a set example, obviously freedom will also be the next target.
so it was nice in amsterdam, being inhabitant of the capital of repressive tolerance you can dump your waste on the citysquare with the same ease a bathhouse can get gassed to take care for having an overriding (albeit meagre) excuse for censoring the more serious attempt to protest in the political capital.
no it wasnt surprising, the only thing to surprise is really the party didnt last longer.
let's be optimist, the house of lords making laws to support their kids making profit of the needy and homeless, we are not at the deathpenalty for individuality yet, just close.
i can just hope there will in the end some mutual instead of onesided despair and denial.
yes it was ncie as ever really, straneg how we used to be the protesters to be the cleanest once,
and now young people make more mess wherever they are, perhaps it is that the environmental police has also been specifically geared(abused) to repress opinions and political action how all of the consumption society makes such a different impression.

egotopica
hello, dear networking world,
in recent weeks i have been at a camp called ecotopia, it may happen again so mark the name.
i can start with a description of the workings in the camp. (it was a camp)
simply together people pay for having vegan cooking and heaps of incredibly nice and not extremely (apparently) expensive bio-cheese. this time, and it may be so the next, ecotopia was in germany and germans do like cheese. they do like lot's of things ofcourse, like heavy thick soups in the afternoon, well cheese they like as well.
i took some share of cheese there and i enjoyed. so for the beer, pilsner mostly. personally i find that at 4.8 percent the taste of barley is still to strong, 4.9, 5.0 and even 5.2 appear the more tasty solutions in that regard and it could well be natural, ecotopical beers manage 5% easily.
many of the rather commercial greater beers i drank had great quality, but the more regional brews prevailed. trust me i know, i tested at least 40.
the camp has compost closets. however clean and even fresh they were, in effectuating compost
there is still some fortunately somewhat distant room for improvement.
the douches were cold, but as long as the sun shone in the millenia old party place thatseemed a little earth on it's own(the hill has a shape like a slice of a great ball so evrywhere you'd look the horizon is deeper then usually, and the days lasted longer. as long as itshone the douches were great, and there was a backup in warm douches. the nearby 'bad' provided money with a paid opportunity in excess cleansing and sauna, and next to it was a , what i might erronously call victorian park. it really was a german thing with many continental influences (really almost grotesk how parks have been build in such a clichee manner even when driven by a desperate mind as the actual architects. he was a bit of a pathetic dreamer perhaps but certainly he enjoyed building the park. it's nice and to see even the touch of his hands on the whole thing.
i saw it a lot, it was the way to the beer experience.
there were heaps of remnant prehistoric tools, i better describe that in detail for all i disturbed.
(if you don't love stones in general and stone tools in specific, skip the next part.)
(begin stonetoolspart)-------------------------------------------------------------------------
the area is the north west european glacial sanddeposit, it stretches more or less from scheveningen to berlin and probably all the way to minsk. as a resultstone tools of any age can be found (my estimate 500k-now)
but besides that the 17k old hills themselves , and certainly also several of the deposits directly ancestrial to the eventual accumulation of sand, stones and silt (mostly sand) have been pioneer habitats for the people of that time. the concept of partying at a place where the sun lasts longer also seems to have been familiar.
stone tools can for several reasons easily be recognised, for one thing they are usually anatomically shaped, so by holding them in the ways they were once held you should with a relatively undamaged piece usually get at least a grasp of its means.
the second and most reknown and accepted way to recognise such tools is by identifying ripples in the areas where flakes had been taken off. especially for the tools older then (my estimate) 40k years old in the area, that is almost impossible through the naked eye, the typical material is flint (however i noticed several pieces that were not on another occasion, not many by any means.)
flint that is a silicat forming in what are usually hollows, holes in calcite formations (and thus most often of a waterbound sediment) comes in nearly every colour and purity, very pure pieces that are intact and (parts off) exposed pieces of primordial deposits (such as were scraped all but completely of evrything north of the area delineated by the sanddeposits thats general location i have described) are surprisingly rare, the flintstone may loose its calcite coating it usually has, when it has been exposed over time and such pieces are fascinating and beautifull.
however flaked flintstone has newer areas of once barren stone, and these weather out calcite at a certain rate.(20k still a patina but at some 50 k (est.) in a sanddeposit they weather enough to turn white and show little signs of human labouring in the curves. yet studying such , either obvious or suspect specimen certainly giver you a hang of it. certain shapes repeat, esthetically pleasing shapes are prevalent and not rarely attention is payed to fossils and other aspects (colours, inclusions natural shape) is payed. even older laboured stones, that may well have belonged to homo erectus species are also (over) represented. the flinstones themselves and certainly also the tools are hard pieces of stone of high purities commonly, and tend to be among the more persistent for that reason. however not much of that is on the surface.
one way to recognise weathered tools is that even a 200k years old stone tool has been as often as not (at least that certainly seems so) reworked at another much later date. with the eye such tools are distinguishable by the functional shapes , reflaking of the points of edges used, that however takes some study as those are usualy the points where the tool was deemed (again) unusefull when they got damaged. in effect you see 'natural damage' at edges and points that have been used as often as not in many pieces. the reuse aspect however is relevant, stones got reused 100k's of years after another, they were also often just made for using once, when stones where available, and i assume among those are many of the reworked pieces.
natural breaks in flintstone ( for example from cars passing over them and ice) are hard to distinguish when they are very old. still it is not so hard, the difference is mainly that even
very old natural damages will not turn into shelllike abbresions, for the very very old tools, you often see only one side of a stone is worked,(a (very) strong rolling pebble from a river or flow being the usual origin.
it is obvious that such finds are rarely of the best quality's they are nevertheless revealing as to how incredibly many stones have once or even more often been used by humans.
on top of all this there is the more recent deposit(s). in the park at some 500 m distance at a path remnants of an old flow surface, and with every rainfall more tools pop up. it appears a special place, many of the tools i saw there where tiny , little were very precise, but the assemblee was impressive, it appeared to include arrowheads, of rather specific kinds, (one model that i could not think of a more logical use then cuttinga rope (a kind of beaked arrowhead, that at least in a metal version has been produced for that specific target) it also included a heap of 'probably arrowheads' and random and less random sharp (pocket)knife like implements
most of it rather small. a lot of the stuff appeared made for or by woman, (usually males tools would fit ok- okish in my hand, female (and/or kids) tools tend to be 'somewhat to small-really small). there were also several small pieces i perceived as experiments or training materials of kids. (becus the more woman like pieces, that were usually quite beautifull, were of a good or at least very decent quality. in all i am now talking about some 150-300 stones most of the nice ones are collected. however few of the finds were spectacular let alone very spectacular.
yet there is at least one more story to tell about the tools of ecotopia, the ones around the camp were different from the ones at the former flow, where i could recognise tools made with similar skill in very similar manner, ie. made by the same individual, the flow appeared to represent a settlement or camp, for that reason, altho i assume many stories have passed there, because the nr of tools was far to great for some 15 m2 and a single camp. a large part however of the tools appeared rather typical in a similar state of erosion. the most spectacular thing i found, was several tools that can only be interpreted as tools for making cloths or even decorations.
i liked that very much,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------end stonetools part
there we were, with cold showers and hot days, singing (not quite good enough perhaps) and celebrating on the exact place people had done that from the moment it became possible, 17k years ago. i felt almost like decorating myself.
i still do actually.
what else can be said, the actual name of the camp was ecotopia, meditation was an important aspect, and i think you can say almost so was music. there were somewhat to little people, a pitty that, and i would have liked a somewhat big and visible project to spend the odd hour a day, probably for somewhat older people (then even me) a tad more luxury would do well. abodes for example, or a seatmaking workshop, a natural kind of longhouse even. that last however would have been to much work. germans tended to stay only a while. logical at it, we remained a rather international company all the way, keep in mind for me a german is an international phenomenon.
less then ever it became obvious luxury is in the ecological lifestyle already, and good to see is how that is also less then voluntairy.the love for ecological luxury as a contrast is also a wonderfull thing to see.
to a slight extend hypocrasy is trump, thorough through microscopic review of the garbage revealed not a few had set out on expeditions unlike me for beer and fish, but for wuerstchen even of the cheapest and saddest kind. without the footlights the lowbudget lowprofile addictions easily beat the profiled ones in hypocrasy as usual. how so smoking area;)
drugs were fortunately abundant, albeit in short supply, what else can you expect in a developed nation. any idea how ecological a good joint really is, can be?
nearly incalculable. i sleep better also.
the chill at nights however nearly killed me, at least i looked like i had been nearly killed most of the evenings, next time i am sure to arrange extra blankets and thick cloths in wich i don't look like an idiot. camous are fine but you kind of need sth. to hide them somewhat, at my warmest at best i looked like sth of a decorative cactus, i suppose, and at worst like a complete shim in the night (i usually try without the battery rubbish and pocketlights) with horseshoes.
i enjoyed greatly, breathed deeply, smoked happily, and talked with many nice people on diverse subjects. i quickly discovered i wasn't that bad of a shaman after all. perhaps i should even write about it. fortunately there usually were some traveller, rainbow people. these people are fine, they look like hippy's that are thrown out of a squatted appartment , that is now destute, falling apart and a cause for the next hypocredicy crises. 'rather sooner then later' sometimes they look like victims of an eviction that succesfully moved into a motorhome, in that case they usually are.
the company was rather constructive, i felt like i should try to contribute more, yet things went how they go, and i am not disappointed. an old injun turned up, he is a shaman.
he is also an ecologist in the real sense, someone who supported the more wordly ecological cause for a long time. he is a funny daring fascinating man, and when he first spoke to the circle, an eagle arrived to look over his head. he is very friendly and refered to me in person.
i was the only one who watched the sky, and didnt want to interrupt his story , Story is one of his names, his injun name is manitonkwat, i am not sure about the last t, and it's pronounced without it afaik. could be a german language thingy, kwat does not sound tasty in the least in german.
means nothing immediatly altho perhaps in a dialect, like "polnish" deutsch.
they have a lot of dialects and speak these well and exceptionally quickly, each of them has a different applied vocabulary, and they strive for completeness and originality. the negative thing is a collection of germans can be as hard to understand as a herd of dolphins the positive thing is u can make random sounds and usually end up saying something that means something else in one or another dialect. it's completely confusing however much priviliged i am as a dutch to have an applicable lexionairy of instinctive sounds that the exact to be expected nr of dialects in german default to specifically dutch words, they neither know or pronounce.
fortunately in such cases every german knows how to apply two different dialects to english and they do that all at once. give them a chance and they will practice their english untill you understand you shouldn't. it is a better idea to lead a morning circle if you want to give people such a lesson. english is the primary language in ecotopia.
it's called continental english, and in such morning circles the result is ok. their english at slow speed and intensity and one for one really is not bad.
morning circles are boring btw. it has been different for me, and perhaps i just know to well how such things roll and get organised, i am not very social besides, no matter how much i like socialising, lest i had it for me just not to speak as much as i am used to, well if i take a minute to decide on sth. it's much, when it takes me 3 i may consider the whole subject a waste of time, i tend to dislike plenums, and even people in plenums, more then i care to admit. i liked the daycircle.
people are at their best in the daycircle, usually it takes them only a second, but in other a day, sometimes two can make a lot of difference.
a lot of the people were quite exceptionally lovable and fascinating anyways. the good intends
so completely overrepresented at times the thought of a traumatical reaction arrived.
(smokes a joint)
manitonkwah did a lot to lift my moods, but he also made my problem more clearly,
bluntly put: wtf should i do about all the extra religious etc.('spiritual') luggage people have.
his solution is rather positive, take it on facevalue and try to work despite of it, mine has allways been a bit more evasive. i rather have none of that then st.h that can easily be misinterpreted and misrepresented, if even remotely correct once over and more.
otoh the myth is ok. all people are born equal, naked and lovely. if you don't see the light of the day in someones eyes, or if they are blind, hearts, just remember once it was a lovable baby. a small child. ok there is anguish but whose is that? the tribe's.
for that simple survivalist or darwinist reason we are one tribe, the hopi's have and allways had a name for that, "the rainbow tribe" , because of the spectral spacetravel ofcourse.
oh no, it's because kin comes in so many colours. chicken or egg. doesnt matter. it still suits, we are a worldwide tribe, tattoos are called tribals, and without a thick ring through your nose you are hardly allways candy.
none of that is the reason tho. the reason of that is spaceship, some call it mother, earth. or the sun perhaps, or who knows perhaps the kosmos, that is the most true ofcourse. at least at some point the kosmos i perceive as majesticall, why would a black hole generate such a mass of matter for example, ok its all them particles getting confused, but on a macroscopic level there is an element of surprise. why would for example a confused particle happen to end up as a part of a flower?
shit happens you will say, but still for shit it looks good, the incidental flower.
i love confused particles for one thing because they make that happen: flowers.
don't cut them, these flowers are having the time of their particles. it's bad karma to persecute confused particles. i am not exactly sure as to how bad, usually it depends the particles, who else will decide. however don't start worrying about the end of the world immediatly, there are so many confused particles, only in the visible part of the universe that you don't see on starmaps, it will take them ages to make a collective decission that would threaten house or hearth.
worry about ecology instead, i must admit that thanking the earth, the ecology, and even the ancestors and a lot more ofcourse, feels good and true, and even makes eagles spy (or it may have been the fbi)
it's the same as that animals like it when you think with them, absorb their communication for what you can and absolutely respect it, listen instead of that you talk to your human self.
that's with children that (cannot) yet talk also.
since talking with them implies thanking them, why not thanking them before talking rubbish to ourselves first?
i dunno what would happen. something i am quite sure.
that's a bit nasty then, i don't see any rational ground to thank the earth or the sun, where i see a rational ground to thank the ecology, since if you want to communicate (with) it. the least one could do is to feel thankfull and be thankfull for the daily massacre of plants and animals.
nevertheless i think it would work, nasty, i feel like a confused particle suddenly,

there is one.....
ecology
in recent weeks i have been at a camp called ecotopia, it may happen again so mark the name.
i can start with a description of the workings in the camp.
'rather sooner then later' sometimes they look like victims of an eviction that succesfully moved into a motorhome, in that case they usually are.
the company was rather constructive, i felt like i should try to contribute more, yet things went how they go, and i am not disappointed. an old injun turned up, he is a shaman.
he is also an ecologist in the real sense, someone who supported the more wordly ecological cause for a long time. he is a funny daring fascinating man, and when he first spoke to the circle, an eagle arrived to look over his head. he is very friendly and refered to me in person.
i was the only one who watched the sky, and didnt want to interrupt his story , Story is one of his names, his injun name is manitonkwat, i am not sure about the last t, and it's pronounced without it afaik. could be a german language thingy, kwat does not sound tasty in the least in german.

up late
it's a wonderfull weather, weeks on end. to dry. the whole world is heating up, saw pictures of noctilucent clouds that scared me to death, oil spill came to a grinding halt.
we saw some great sunsets (not many) motley clouds (the gulf oil?) and wednesday a once in 3 years complete (double) rainbow. however the cops stole my acculoader last year, so no pics.
since i spend every day since my friends X. birthday browsing an oilcatastrophe and have become rather vocal at points i should condense some of my findings here.
the first, most eyespringing, detail is the extent to what media and (corporate) policy makers converge in projecting myths, exquisite naivety, straight nonsense and limited knowledge.
so about from the very start of the reporting, a rather to huge flow of myths but also of facts obscured after having (accidently) become public started. it enticed several campaign items like for example when day in day out associated press in the united states started publishing articles that said: you are dependend on oil! thou ar'st depenedth on oil! without oil no jobs! etc.
just like it is mindless that aljazeera or bbc repeat that 20 ppl (1) have died when the well blew up in every article. (rather a waste of bandwith , and thus energy/oil) it is mindless to think that even people that eat gentech food have forgotten these are packed in plastic. or that cars drive on oil. or jobs thrive on oil. that we wouldn't understand that is quite the "projection".
do you remember bp locked the survivors in for 24 hours? even wounded ones? guarded them, i think with assault rifles, and forced them to sign waivers? forgot it? didn't need to be repeated 3 times a day? in each paper?
that the only guys that were launched with a lifeboat were the fatheads that had been 'celebrating the safety record', (it hadn't nearly sunk for a whole year).
to be honest i payed little attention when it was burning,

all the sensation, as if i can't guess that a burning rig looks like a dirty mess. i kinda assumed the problem would be over once the thing had sunk. but not so, so the next subject became the blowout prevention stack.
i think it is due that i describe what i read about the bop. it was reportedly broken, so broken some even spend most of the day before to try and improvisedly fix it.
i don't want to say it must have been sabotaged, or that they coud have properly maintained or improvisedly fixed it, but how should i be sure it was not?
that trail had the usian media 'stumble' upon 'the ideal spill's'(2) bop maintainance records.
that hellburnedon and transocean appeared complicit but outside the stockexchange also was an early impression, the lousy cementing, the use of the wrong kinds of drilling fluids, but also the catatrophic and econ0omical potential of the spill wouldn't have went unnoticed to them.
however the maintainance reports implicated bp as much as any. the whole bop, was shipped in a testing configuration. even if it hadn't been broke chances it would have functioned 'well' would not have been great , let alone perfect.
i think with half of the 'shears' in a testing configuration the other half would not really be the most set to blow. all of that is besides the point, since the thing plainly was not checked for integrity by the responsible party for the drilling operation. bp.
you could think transocean was at that point complicit by letting the bop go like that. but the exact details of corporate and subsidiary ties are complex and plenty. not sure if it was here that by then i had for me decided the others (cheney, hellburnedon, transocean) were not free of blame. (3)
by then it also became clear tony hayward (..) and others had sold shares in the days and sometimes weeks ahead. again a subject that investigating it soon gets me sleepy, so that i have to take reports to that mostly on facevalue. on facevalue it is scary. democrat and republican, corporate and governmental have all been implicated. i have to assume information like this will be subject to the same mechanisms of censoring as other informations in the media, so the real scale and to some extend who actually knew about it (m pretty sure tony did) when their shares were sold by financial investors i am not very sure. transparance is a nice ideal, but for now something applied on the poor and privvy to the rich.
in some points i strayed into informations beyond that, but we are now once week into the gusher. i payed attention to the wildlife and saw some reports of massmortality in fish.
i had great hopes the 'containment dome' could be a help. but it had no pump, scrapers anything more versatile or anchors so the ill understood(?) mechanism of icing had it's hayday.
tony whined about his. my hay ! he must have thought. people kept collecting hair and throwing oil and straw in water. black people appeared in the clean up pictures, it takes about a dozen black people about a day to collect an immense pile of plastic bags full of oilwaste.
solidarity is everywhere, it takes 30-50 white people about a day to collect 150 ( it would weigh aprox a fourth plastic bag) turttle eggs to an incubator. guess who is better?
the first time i saw a really mixed crew on the beach was when obama visited it first. in the upperclass case at least he was a minority. 't was still the black people to get the physical contact with the oil ofcourse.
for some reason for a while hands with oil had appeared in the papers, i had been wondering why, (2nd and 3rd week into the disaster) only now i understand. not that i want to say you can't clean oil with your hands, far from that, there must be ways to do that in a safety kind of way.
k those were publicitary hands. the odd thing is maybe so much doesn't go for obama's well groomed beach, i think he was curious to have a look when they pointed him where to look at the right look of tarballs. i would be, what would the quasidispersed gulf oiltarball on a recreational facility look like?
by now he felt the need to play his own game of gulf btw. both literally (like tigerwoods) and as commander in chief. mh, he did better then mcchrystal, perhaps he should give it a try in afghanistan himself;) where the times bomber had just celebrated the 999th casualty in the afghanistan war today was celebrated the 1000th. i warned them to stop feeding a daily dose of dead soldier meat. helped a bit. detractors became hard to find, north korea for example didn't really hit the mark yesterday. that stupid cold usian war ...
was also a bit quick after pakistan that had complained all the promises of billions were nice but they'd rather get a couple of millions really. that was the day before that.
perhaps i have to say what i think about the 'incident'. to my knowledge recent deaths had been among the northkoreans in recent months. i wasn't shocked nor certain of northkorean involvment. there will be a probably more reliable russian investigation into the subject.
the investigation into the gaza boat incident was another one of wich i severely doubted it's impartiality. otoh, awaiting russian confirmation it did much to highlight a possible exterior cause, suggesting a rather modern means. they said it exploded at 150 mtrs under it. there is a marked possibillity old mines would do that, and without being convinced of impartiality the remains of the torpedo tell me nothing at all, and even appear notably suspect for looking like they have been outside for years (not under the sea for weeks). also ofcourse the claim for their genuine northkorean origin (that goes metalurgically unchecked), is a very onesided one. that is a claim from the northkorean branchvariety of the cia , the military information service.
with a great history of cia provocations in the far-east , the general trending with japan and last but not least the recent agressions towards northkorea, i don't have radical opinion on the matter. so after having been distracted, and a small break, on with the catastrophe.

(1) i know, i know it was 9-11;)
(2) bp in the media day 3 or 4.
(3) i am not so sure about anadarko, but i think these bore little or no executional responsibility.
thats only my impression and one that could or could not be correct as a result of getting it from (after all corporate) journalism.

residual murky black goo
willfull misconduct, so much the little people may say, a coastguard accepting skimmers 6 weeks late. the trajectory maps show at some point when hitting 300 km from louisiana shores all oil just disappears. the blobs of oil that are dead animals are not an indication something might be deadly wrong with oil on birds or turtles. now and then the odd fisher or beachgoer reports a couple of 10000 dead animals, but most of it doesn't. just today i read it again, the nr of possible animal victims of oil.., could be zero..
such great insights in what is going on and the immense harmlessness of oil don't cast the slightest doubt on all the rest we are reported. basically, how much oil is still escaping and how long will it circulate. today some additional equipment is supposed to have arrived and upped the 'containment capacity'. my guess is they are now collecting about half. however by now vessels from all over the world are on their way to the gulf, so either there is plenty of oil floating about to be sure they all have a job for july, or perhaps they are collecting much less then half afterall.
yesterday i read one more of the 'hopefull' statements the flow hadn't abaided in a meaningfull way yet.
the oil is expected to start flowing somewhat more gently whenever the gas that drives it looses some pressure. the whole well is rather deep, so deep i would think there is no real danger in sealing it in an explosive way, allthough you would want to be sure of the exact depth and sedimentary layer of your effort. and at that depth (and with the apparent 60-40% oil gas mix)
usually there is rather more then less gas then expected. i know that because you can make use of the feature to get extra gas production.
so altho i must admit the idea that gas flowing at such a rate would somehow run out at some point is an attractive one, it's quite as probable the turtles died from birds flue.
good news about the turtles is a 100 are saved, of wich btw a whole 3 got rereleased, i wonder why in fact, i suppose to see the effect of oil on a life turtle. if they swim straight into it eg.
talking about turtles, the newssites don't make an estimate about the nr of animal that died and somehow went out of sight. apparently they sink, and hide to die, but not one estimate of nr's.
i have no idea myself, it should be a really simple estimate to make, x percent of birds sink, x percent hit the beach. x percent hide an die, there are some 1000 oilcovered naturally dead birds recovered,
thats a ridiculous and random estimate btw, perhaps it is in reality 10 or even 100 times as much.
perhaps 8 times more of them sank? and 10 times more of them hid?
a bit less i guess. in the ordre of 100000s dead birds then.
but they admitted.. managed to make the nation and world believe (or at least not rise up in protest) a whole ZERO, just today.
i won't touch mammals, dolphins have a very sensitive skin. they flock so close to beach now it would be a bad example. i learned one more thing, the gulf and it's wildlife are widely promoted as splendid (and these days as unaffected) but it is actually poor, there arent so many dolphins, and really few turtles, i bet, just like the english catches, the fish caught is neither bountyfull nor as tasty as it was 100 years ago. you could even tell that when the spill hadn't started.
so my guess is after this is all over and by when we hopefully switch to cleaning the niger delta,
there is an interesting ecological project to start in the gulf of mexico, involving no fishing for a decade for starters, it may sound farfetched, but it would be nice to see some of the oil money reserved to observe the ecology as it develops.
such great insights in what is going on and the immense harmlessness of oil don't cast the slightest doubt on all the rest we are reported. basically, how much oil is still escaping and how long will it circulate. today some additional equipment is supposed to have arrived and upped the 'containment capacity'. my guess is they are now collecting about half. however by now vessels from all over the world are on their way to the gulf, so either there is plenty of oil floating about to be sure they all have a job for july, or perhaps they are collecting much less then half afterall.
yesterday i read one more of the 'hopefull' statements the flow hadn't abaided in a meaningfull way yet.
the oil is expected to start flowing somewhat more gently whenever the gas that drives it looses some pressure. the whole well is rather deep, so deep i would think there is no real danger in sealing it in an explosive way, allthough you would want to be sure of the exact depth and sedimentary layer of your effort. and at that depth (and with the apparent 60-40% oil gas mix)
usually there is rather more then less gas then expected. i know that because you can make use of the feature to get extra gas production.
so altho i must admit the idea that gas flowing at such a rate would somehow run out at some point is an attractive one, it's quite as probable the turtles died from birds flue.
good news about the turtles is a 100 are saved, of wich btw a whole 3 got rereleased, i wonder why in fact, i suppose to see the effect of oil on a life turtle. if they swim straight into it eg.
talking about turtles, the newssites don't make an estimate about the nr of animal that died and somehow went out of sight. apparently they sink, and hide to die, but not one estimate of nr's.
i have no idea myself, it should be a really simple estimate to make, x percent of birds sink, x percent hit the beach. x percent hide an die, there are some 1000 oilcovered naturally dead birds recovered,
thats a ridiculous and random estimate btw, perhaps it is in reality 10 or even 100 times as much.perhaps 8 times more of them sank? and 10 times more of them hid?
a bit less i guess. in the ordre of 100000s dead birds then.
but they admitted.. managed to make the nation and world believe (or at least not rise up in protest) a whole ZERO, just today.
i won't touch mammals, dolphins have a very sensitive skin. they flock so close to beach now it would be a bad example. i learned one more thing, the gulf and it's wildlife are widely promoted as splendid (and these days as unaffected) but it is actually poor, there arent so many dolphins, and really few turtles, i bet, just like the english catches, the fish caught is neither bountyfull nor as tasty as it was 100 years ago. you could even tell that when the spill hadn't started.

Personally i try not to be rude.
However sometimes i screw up.
Basically i will remove, discriminating and hate posts. And comments clearly derivant from well prepared 'neocon' (kapitalist) pr or secret service agents. (aivd , fbi, mossad etc.)
Dutch language is welcome.
English prefered, sorry if that bothers my fellow countryman who always seem to think they know how to handle their languages. Ill edit this some time;)
