(obama)
like i suppose more often you may wonder what has panic ado with obama, well from my standpoints and views, nothing, although that is different with my sympathy for him.
i panic when people undersupport obama.
however that is not the subject, because this is not about individual fears and scares.
what he has to do with panic is at the other side, the industrialists, capitalists and republican panic. and if you make your analyses politically correct, that incorporates a load of people who think they are different for naming themselves a democrat.(1)
so firstly unfortunately but predictably we have seen racial panic, but there has been a lot of bonus panic as well, and there is the insurance lobby panic, the israeli panic in fact panic about evrything capitalists panic about, wich is only one thing, money, a surplus of it.
so if you look at it from my side, it has enough to do with panic to be a topic.
now it get's painfull, because the usian corporations have changed the first amendment, to dehumanize the concept of a person. they have changed it in such a way , that corporations can spend money on political groups (right wing ofcourse, and so far racist apparently) and make the people pay for it through taxdeductions. smart criminals there right? in the congress and corps.
so i panic, because my own dutch legal system has pretty much come to nought. for instance recently i got extra fines (it was the first and last thing the undercovered officer said, except a hidden threat towards my kids) because i was not agreeing, and protested the nazi measure applied to me.
so if you protest against nazi regulations you get extra fines, in all that the police never stuck to a procedure, wich happens to be mostly fake anyway, and bothered much about not speaking the truth. well that is not my law, and when i was younger the dutch law would disallow such infringements on my rights.
(a police repeatedly admitting he fines me for personal or political reasons is called arbitrary punishment, in legal terms)
a similar thing we see all to often, and in the context of obama in usia the rightwing is at great speed destroying the fundamental rights of it's people.
great speed? actually i think the exact same speed, and that is pretty quick. meanwhile in netherlands a procedure against a showcase xenophobiac is much hyped, however, it's a publicity stunt, the man is charged before some superfluous unknown to common people extra chamber, quitte unsimilar with the ease i get extra fines, he is sure to get only publicity.
or the ease 'blitz' justice is adapted, or the ease people get convicted to cheer up public events, or the ease with what our housing right got unrooted, or foreigners expelled, or locked in iron cages on boats, children no exception.(4)
not comparable to the ease with what a next xenophobiac was allowed to fraud for yet another (hirshi ali) that applied under a false name for a refugee status she next denied the others.
and all of that openly, in parliament. the list is near endless.(2) we lost our right on appeal, and police got a right to say they have been indignified, over wich rightwingers have wet dreams as to how high to raise the punishment.
what it means? the attack of rightwingers (in netherlands evrything but the SP) on our fundamental rights is a coordinated affair, against wich neither law nor people have an answer.
once a high judge spoke out, i assumed he would get fired soon, or back out. since this is a banana republic, if he got fired, we have not been told. if he backed out, we have not been shown.
it's the carrot that comes with the whip, to keep the donkeys pulling the carts of the elites treasury. how much worse then this sometimes incapable elite of power inheritants can it get.
not much, that is why what is happening in usia is along the exact same lines.
i have to analyse it myself after all, and i am limited in the nr of dull articles and legal nitpicking over fundamentally flawed ideas i can handle. i get angry or distracted when i see fundamental principles shoved aside for the good of the thickest wallets.
so thats why i keep it plain and say it's the same. like bill clinton produced hillary and bush sr bush jr a similar system is in netherlands still in place, family's occupying high positions in the nation.
ofcourse they are as arrogant to pretend they are suit for such, i differ however. i am not very impressed with the profesionality of it all, not convinced at all of it's legality, and to be straight
the hypocracy in destroying long fought for rights (for example just to target my person either personally or in political aspect) does exactly not translate in competence.
competence would be to improve on existing law and rights, not to try hard as you can to
re-establish totalitarianism. undo rights or turn them into a frankenstein variety of age old traditions. even caesar now appears a more modern ruler then them.
admittedly cultural precautions are being made, recently i read a recence uhm, uh crtic? on a play called caesar and brutus, well one thing it showed and as far as i am concerned the only thing, was a fear for their persona, lex romana or pax romana, whatever they perceive as their enemy (i think lex), they were sculpted like unbeings.
poor obama, poor paniced usians, poor ourselves, were will it lead? military control over scarce food resources for the rich in their bunkers , protected by private army's? like the plugged xenophobiacs in parliament to great cost for the nation?
like our national victim, goatfucker (his words) theo van gogh? that man is the ultimate hero of anyone who knows zilch about the netherlands, surely the propaganda machine is rolling and creating it's disqualifying myths, and believe it or not, obama's good intentions are as much a victim as ours.
(1) for that reason of having two only marginally different interest holders in politics usia is actually straight out *not* a democracy, it is also not a democracy because they believe in personal power for the individual president. it's a republic at best.
(2) irak having no wmd's known to prime minister and the bunch, but the idea still promoted.
(3) wallstreet starting a massive embezzlement and frauding the usian taxpayers out of what was left for their next generation counts.
(4) list can be made much longer

a panic people (4)
(drugs)
thinking over what next fears moves this world most, heh besides exconomical catastrophe.
i thought perhaps it is once again time to say something about drugs.
drugs are taboo-ish, certainly when you consider them in a worldwide perspective, as opposed to western or dutch, or perhaps in many cases even upper class.
the common, oh i had to hear i was so oldfashioned over this, idea about taboo's that hamper people's happiness (wich is for eg. a sick usually a drug) , is that by confronting them you can improve something,
i feel dumb for telling but to give an example, by breaking taboo's around sexuality anti conception and condoms became available. or because we broke the taboo about racism we can now despair how to educate the generations of dropouts we continually create by sticking to old habits, and actually greed. (roughly disguised as fear, how will i survive if i share things, what will be left for me if others have a right on an equal share?) or how can we make a profit of these people also need to be decently payed (haiti).
these things have been surrounded by taboos and still are so, no matter how eagerly plenty of us deny without much introspection.
for a taboo to turn into something usefull, unrestrictive, unlimiting, it needs to be contradicted, and since a simple contradiction never sticks as well as the subconscious elements of a taboo it needs to be broken down into the tiny pieces of fear it consists of.
a fearsome job that can keep you bussy many lives long, but that has it's charmes.
fortunately usually we arrive at our ideas within the constraints of one single life,
so it may be explained that i, encountering yet one more transcedental fear clouded with taboo's kept an eye.
today i watched this gaza documentary, heroic tunneling , to undeep to be really safe for airstrikes. well these guys had nothing to worry because they worked for the israeli's and took their pills themselves. the story they told, i should perhaps say the hamas police told, but it appeared somewhat supported in the client state's circuit, was that israel and sometimes egypt took care plenty of drugs arrived in gaza.
now that is not a new story, if i am not mistaken the whole english tradition of mixing in pig bone meal with the flower is based on that same uh.. jewish, idea, if you are so mad you think you'r belief destroys you when you get in touch with a pig, ok be destroyed and your wicked belief with it. not that it didn't happen to us...
so that's a completely innocent thing. however when it's about drugs, suddenly people will be so scared uhm how do you express such things in a neat way, that it comes running down their pants. doesn't even matter if they are 10 kilometer away or 1000,
just hiss drugs loudly and everyone will be scared and stop making sense. so i think that is why the police says that, they want to make a point: israel is bad, and they do that by saying drugs.. drugs .. drugs.. in people's ears.
israel probably does the same. makes perfect sense when palestineans are the poorer group in israel like in gaza.
wich brings me back on topic, and i don't want that, because tkere is another common drugs story going round that if you are more intimate with reality is even more utterly and completely outrageous,
(heh because israel has an interest to show that every normal humans tend to use and abuse "drugs" medicin's or some kind of kicks.)
after all israel has some of the better koffeeshops of the whole middle east within these walls.
(not counting refugee tribes in the kaukasus that accidently haven't been attacked by an army the past 5 years, well that is not the middle east really kaukasus riot? kurdistan.)
neway, wether the kurds would be better of with an israeli partnership in that trade remains to be proven. wich is mostly a joke about some common kurdophobe sentiments commonly met.
like i said, the other silly story is that usia went to afghanistan for the opium. what? i think that story is a cia invention to begin with. they discovered the only common sense that people could make out of afghanistan was to finally get rid of absurdly high heroin prices that destabilised our economy quite as much as our personal lives.
so they smugly thought: we will make a gossip that we did it for that, and everyone will love us.
but it is to much honour. there is no reason to only complain about the past 3-4 years narcotics policy's of usia much, allthough they seemed rather a random measure of out of the blue accusations and repressions, i take it for granted that the beneficial effect of having the drugs at an affordable price not only cured much of the patients, but also a lot of the problems they represented in their society.
since it is an urbanised consumptionist society like mine, i can easily enfigure what a benefactor that was.
meanwhile however they supported an impressive heap of repressive regimes and programs, it is a bit of the pigbone story again i suppose. ok don't do it like us, you will find in time you were bothered about nothing.
plus that they still depend a lot of the fear that they can summon with it. i have even seen obama whispering 'drugs' just to get the attention , well in his case because he needed scared people to trust him, i didn't say noone could have their reasons.
it's an overly sunny picture, but that is about drugs, the pictures are either utterly depressing or a bit on the sunny side perhaps.
there is a whole lot of interesting things in afghanistan, and one of them is opium, but how practical that was usia really only found out after a lot of pressure and occupying afghanistan.
after getting an easy acces to a huge supply of crude opium they just noticed that wasn't exactly the most expensive way to get to it, just like we (europe).
what i wonder is where will it grow next, if this experiments bites in its tail, and the panic is needed to achieve something else for wich then the opium production gets even more embarrassingly terrorised. that is a question i would rather not have to ask.
so i hope we will find a social cure and make a constructive start without 'demonising' the mirror that shows us the problem much longer.
after all, i have seen way more harmfull results way quicker from chemical medicines, that i would wish upon none.
gaza is having a severe problem with an opiate. not so hard to grasp it is exactly an opiate that is available also through the legal circuit, and not so farfetched it is suspect.
however the hamas police is awfull as can be. they are really the kind of demonic, harsh and violent institution israel feels represents their islamic enemy's best, no matter that they probably have been completely right in securing the streets.
so the fear that is part of the taboo on drugs is still a usefull tool in to many hands then to hope to rid it with this small update.
thinking over what next fears moves this world most, heh besides exconomical catastrophe.

a panic .. people (3)
since i will mostly be considering haiti here some of you may wonder what this has to do with panic.
for historical reference, the 12th of januar at 16:53 (about) local time the capital of haiti, a shodden build capital in one of the poorest nations, was struck by a 7 magnitude earthquake and utterly devastated, current counts point at between 100 and 200000 people killed. burried beneath rubble.
at first the 13th and aproximately 24 hours after the incident, no clear news was let through to the major channels, after that it did and slowly a picture of the devastation was allowed to arrive.. no panic people..
i have the impression even the internet channels that people use to vent their own impressions had been limited to express only greetings, regards and messages of those who were still alive.
(i remember one guy that proudly wrote i am on this tv, i am on taht tv, some 10 times, however it was all he wrote)
24 hours is definitly enough to acces damages and even deathtoll in a realistic (altho nowhere precise ofcourse ) manner. such didnt happen. only after some 30 hours the news began to show that the disaster was of ultimately huge proportions.
of course people now react as if it just happened, you see a lot of focus on the searching, and after 4 days, with unknown but rather huge numbers of search and rescue teams that are still flown in, one would suspect more to get professional exercise then to still find survivors.
the first 24 hours after a huge earthquake are critical, anyone that got burried alive still has a chance for salvation in that time..
but like i explained, the first 24 hours nothing happened except a thorough control of the media.
so i apologise for my cynism but i think it need be said aid was send suspectably late.
at the very moment media attention partly focusses on the few survivors (after 3-4 days usually children), that still get pulled alive from beneath the ruins, actually it is a huge part of the reporting, no matter that beneath this rubble just very few would still be alive, and the stricken people on the streets, are still in need for medical care. and because it concerns millions, food.
water was not mentioned today so the city's water supply system has been put to use to distribute water by now. that is not very bad, also in the rescue of a little boy i saw that the procedure now encompasses cars to drive people to hospitals (ofcourse miracle survivors might get this extra attention) so the roads are to some extend clear in port au prince. that means distribution of water should no longer be a problem.
it's not solved but with the right kind of exercise noone needs to die from thirst. food is still a problem , millions of people on the street, and about 90% of them with no financial means, and nothing of an income left with the city largely (some 90%) destroyed, will be in dire need for food for weeks to come.
everyone (or almost all) with a foreign passport is leaving in a great hurry, and part of the population started drifting towards the country side of day one. yet some 2 million people remain in the area (thats an estimate) and they will need support.
a lot of questions start to rise, for example about the usian army, will they leave again? the whole haiti is very close to usia, the thought comes up how can you let your neighbour live in such poverty, but now donations are rolling in, and ofcourse expenses, on militairy planes and personnel are rising, i can't help but wonder where this aid will all end up, with a yearly average income of 256$ or so , obviously even the 50 or so million now collected could hire a lot of labour.
but i fear the overhead, since for years i have seen little control or accounting for what aid really arrived. for what it's worth i am quite distrustfull about the european overhead, so the whites way to cope with such money. i just wish some control in that sense will be put in place, because i think it is terribly bitter that money that is actually donated to victims of a major disaster can hardly be traced after it arrives at it's collectors.
that besides , how is it spend, obviously port au prince , that will just like every other disaster strucken poor nation city be rebuild at the exact spot of the disaster most probably, needs a better water supply system and decent building regulations. i am not intimate to the details of the seismic fault, and perhaps it would be a life long experience to predict anything definite about it, but another quake will take place in 40-50 and at most 100 years, and since earthquakes are notoriously hard to predict perhaps also much sooner.
the haitians themselves can't pay for this, their nation has been logged, being some 90% enclosed by sea they apparently have no fishing industry worth mentioning, and beside rampant erosion i know not yet of a major agricultural produce, a few projects i hears of offer people 5$ a day, of wich they then spend two on transport, but the ones with that luxurious kind of income are little.
so there is actually nothing, that is no news, if you look at the history of haiti, a majorly black nation (except the ruling class) the thought it is institutional racism that kept them so poor is striking early. why don't they have an income of mining or even oil, there must be some, who catches their fish? why wasnt reforesting required after logging? and was the destruction of a native agriculture (through erosion but i suspect also through population politics , sending the people to just this city) coincedentual?
it's all in the mist of banking secrets, someone gets payed for that fish, someone got payed for the wood. its now said its been used for charcoal, but i still remember how i recently read it was logging that did it for the most.
that besides, why is it not industrially developed in any sense. an aid organisation factory or two that pay 5$ a day i wouldn't call development.
i think because of institutional racism over the past two century's.
what has it ado with panic? firstly they did keep it obscure in the news for 24 hours, so as not to panic people, but i think also to get their publicity prepared, to have standard distracting formulations ready, so that the sour points that would move (panic) people don't get into the open easily. (logging versus charcoal eg.)
i end this story with expressing the hopes haiti will now be treated as a nation of humans, that development and not further exploitation will be the result of this quake and the interference that necessarily follows. that it will be reforested, get's it's fishing right's, a profit of it's own resources, and that agriculture will be stimulated. haiti is on an island split in two through colonial history and like in those cases most often i do, i think it may be that it would be better of if it fused with the dominican republic, but i don't expect it.
haiti is to aware of the racism in that republic to have high hopes of such a fusion, and unfortunately through knowing some of the history, i must admit i agree with that. racism has been the deciding factor in the (un) development of haiti, and that racism is shared by neighbouring hispaniola's in the dominican republic.
a next problem is with the local government, from now i must guess, because i don;'t know the details here, but after a violent power take over the un send a "peacekeeping" mission, that supported the new rulers and it is still there to police the populace. a populace that through century's of racism may indeed have become restless.
the luxurious presidential palace of wich i wonder it wasn't build since, collapsed. a former president wants to return, i fear to a rebuild palace..

a panic people (2)
i guess the intention was that i would write about how i get intimidated and harrassed by the police, and my things stolen every time they get their hands on anything, but it is not so important as what was in my mind already.
i know they have a special service to annoy people like me, (people with unwanted political opinions) and if the signs don't lie i have a nasty year ahead, with all this effort to make sure i am hungry in januar.
anyway its not the point, this is about climate change..
a true reason for panic ain't?
soo what about climate change? its not even freezing in the middle of the night the first week of januar,
ok this about it..
since the climate top failed miserably (1) every day we had forecasts for terrible winterweather. they even upgraded the warning for i dunno what ( i wasn't acutely aware of any status of this half winter almost without frost) to extreme.
well its not extreme at all, only it snowed only thrice in like 30 years, and usually we would have had well uhm 30 times snow a year? 2 months frost?
this year however it snows, and that is visible, so u can create a panic around it.
i dont really watch tv. it's horrible, , adds, and prop, not uncommonly agiprop, but sometimes i see some anyhow, well these days it is nonsense about extreme cold time. so they predicted cold and more snow every day.(it hasnt really been cold, and it snowed like 4 days or so)
worse... today i saw in a tv program about expensive cars, someone get out of a very chique car (with an obviously extremely bad heater) and start pathetical shivering. (i can be quite pathetic if i want to get out of claustrophobiac situations myself.)
pathetically shivering 1 second after he getx out of this really luxurious car he posed he wanted the earth to heat more.. he doesnt care about people who live in a warm country allready, no he cares about lying when gets out of a heated car in a script to cause panic.
(1) reasons it failed: the rich don't wantto help pay and tried to play a trick on the poor, in a way that they could continue polluting and the poor had to stop develop for 10 billion(i) euro, a fee, a nothing in the costs of climate or even disaster management.
(i) english word 'milliarden' in dutch.

a panic people
people here are ruled by panic, they believe just about everything with the right dose of fear horror and panic, that's an electorate fact that has been well taken charge of.
the national panic is a safe asset, fear apparently makes blind, or.. is it the shame to admit to have been fooled?
right now someone is facing a lifelong punishment over something that a certain president called ' a screwup' of the services, neglicence and the refusal to act on solid informations.
so i tell you a story, here in netherlands in criminal justice and even outside that perhaps, for pathological crime, it is impossible to get a lifelong sentence. well, the fear politics changed it a bit some 10 years ago already, so now in fact everything unconstitutional is made possible again, but the people still feel ashamed to admit how they have been fooled.
10 years ago there was no such thing as a lifelong sentence. i think it was 16 years, and effectively 10 or even 8, that was the highest. it happened even for murder more then a few times(1). however,
if someone did something definitly (or definedly) insane, inhumane, we had another measure that did have a lifelong reach, it was called : tbs or tbr(2),
and something like that still exists, it didn't get terribly abused like so many differently meant laws these days do, almost that terribly..
however i promised a story and here it is. to get this tbs (i think thats for the status these days) one needs (? but it's so) to apply for psychological investigations. there is an institute for that and it commonly takes months for them to get to a diagnosis.
so i know a story of someone who was psychologically researched,
(however unlawfully somewhere else.. i think, at some random place, with some random employee of the justice ministery that gets payed per parcel and a bonus at it)
as a part of the investigation to his personality, they asked him the kind of standard questions
they do..
"if you were to live at an uninhabited island, with whom would you most like to be there? "
"muhammed khadaffi"
boom lifelong.
(1) precedents
(2) it used to be the difference i think between the punishment and the status of the victim of that, but nowadays fearpolitics changed it a bit , two scary words work better then 1 and, when you confuse things it will be harder for individual people to answer.
note:after posting i had to correct two changes in the first line alone, destroying my first lines destroys the attention..

2010
not a boring subject so far, there's the fabulous 80 gram underpantsterrorist that ofcourse didn't even succeed in blowing up his own seat, and there's the insulted journalist with diabetes that wasn't killed by the airfreight company's. anything else, oh yes, casual us interventions in yemen.
that is a sad thing, in there utter paranoia they found another nation where a word like al could have a casual use and decided to do the bombs dub. or whatever. probs to have an excuse for bases close to iran these houthi's are slaughtered. shooting natives outside their own territory these days, guess they get scarce and they still think natives are something like tuna.
what a start of a year.
cu all.

Personally i try not to be rude.
However sometimes i screw up.
Basically i will remove, discriminating and hate posts. And comments clearly derivant from well prepared 'neocon' (kapitalist) pr or secret service agents. (aivd , fbi, mossad etc.)
Dutch language is welcome.
English prefered, sorry if that bothers my fellow countryman who always seem to think they know how to handle their languages. Ill edit this some time;)
